Sixty-one local government leaders – mangmis and tshogpas, from Gasa and Punakha are attending a three-day mediation training organised by Bhutan National Legal Institute (BNLI) in Punakha. The gups of all 205 gewogs were trained since the programme began on September 19 last year, and so far, the institute has trained 628 LG leaders of 11 dzongkhags.
