Spaghetti 150gms

Tomato 100gms

Onion 10gms

Garlic 05gms

Fresh Basil 05gms

Tomato Puree  50gms

Chilli Flakes 02gms

Olive 10gms

Olive Oil 20ml

Parmesan Cheese 10gms

Fresh Parsley 05gms

Salt To taste

Black Pepper To taste

Water 500ml


Step 1

Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add onion, garlic and chilies. Cook, stirring often, for 6 to 7 minutes or until onion is soft. Add tomatoes, stock and 1/4 cup basil leaves. Bring to a gentle boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer, uncovered, for 15 minutes.

Step 2

Meanwhile, cook Spaghetti pasta in a large saucepan of boiling, salted water following packet directions, until tender. Drain pasta and return to pan.

Step 3

Stir sugar into tomato sauce. Season with salt and pepper. Spoon sauce over pasta. Toss to combine. Cover and set aside for 5 minutes (this allows pasta to absorb sauce).

Step 4

Sprinkle with remaining basil. Spoon into serving bowls and serve With Crispy or Grated Parmesan Cheese.
