The enthusiastic response during the president’s campaign in Trashigang, drawing attendees from remote gewogs like Merak and Sakteng, indicated PDP’s influence in the region.

First-time voter, Sonam Tenzin from Kanglung, expressed nervousness and excitement, emphasising the importance of voting for nation-building.

Voters in Bartsham expressed the need for change and found PDP’s pledges most relevant to rural communities.

Trashigang voters echoed the sentiment that giving the former government another chance could elevate the country to new heights.
