The undefeated Daga United FC recently secured their place in the BPL 2024 without suffering any losses. In their latest match, they triumphed over Tsirang FC with a commanding 3-0 victory, solidifying their spot in the upcoming league.
The BPL is set to kick off in May, with Daga United FC now confirmed as one of its participants.
With Daga United on board, seven out of the ten teams slated for the BPL 2024 have been finalised.
Three spots will be determined through the remaining matches of the ongoing Pepsi BPL Qualifiers.
As the league progresses into its final round, the anticipation builds for the selection of the final contenders to complete the lineup for the upcoming BPL season.
Daga’s coach, Ngawang Dendup, said, “I am glad that the team made it to the BPL. For the BPL, the team will recruit a few more players to make it convenient. BPL takes longer duration and we need back-up players.”
Ngawang Dendup said the team succeeded in the Pepsi League because of the players’ confidence and hard work, their teamwork, and the impressive skills of the players.
“For the BPL, we will try our best to ensure a competitive match,” he said.
