Bhutan’s under (U)-19 national women’s football team lost two consecutive games as of yesterday in the ongoing SAFF U-19 Women’s Championship 2024 in Bangladesh. Bhutan lost to Nepal 1-0 yesterday despite a commendable performance.  The first half ended in a goalless draw but the opponent found the net early in the second half.

During the inaugural match on February 2, India beat Bhutan 10-0.  Bhutan, India, Nepal and Bangladesh are contesting in the championship.  The six-day tournament will end on February 8. Bhutan will play the last league game on February 6 against hosts Bangladesh.
