Bhutan’s economy and trade imbalance

GDP & debt: Following a slowdown in FY 2012-13, our economy revived in the subsequent years, and growth has been progressive over the last couple of years. By the end of 2015, the size of our economy was Nu 132.000 billion, which translates to a per capita income of Nu 172,814 (approx. USD 2700 per person/annum) considering the total population of 768,577 (as per data from NSB).
